Rough Guides DVD

Throughout 2010/11 JMS is producing six programmes exploring environmental issues and some of the ways we can reduce our negative impact on the planet. 
 
Fronted by well-known environmental champion Philippa Forrester (BBC 1 'Halcyon River Diaries') three programmes have so far been completed, taking an in-depth look at Thermal Efficiency, Energy-efficient windows, and Microgeneration and Solar Thermal systems.

Just like the Rough Guides approach to its world-famous travel guides, these guides to 'greening your home' aim to give clear and engaging explanations of the science underlying the latest developments, and to emphasise that energy conservation is something everyone could, and should do. 
 
A thousand DVDs have already been distributed as part of a competition in the Daily Telegraph, and Philippa's clarity, plus her bright and breezy style has been praised to the point where a 'school-kids' version of the final DVD is being considered.
